Dr. Robert S. Ross
Robert S. Ross is a professor of Political Science, Boston College;
associate, John King Fairbank Center for East Asian Research,
Harvard University; and senior advisor, Security Studies
Program, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His current
research focuses on Chinese security policy and US-China relations,
with a focus on Chinese use of force and deterrence in East Asia.
Among his recent publications is U.S.-China Relations, 1955-
1971: A Reexamination of Cold War Conflict and
Cooperation, coeditor (Asia Center, Harvard University, 2001).
